Mai bis Herbert Bayer is probably best known in Denver for his monumental canary-yellow sculpture "articulated wall," a striking constructivist composition Author: Michael Paglia.
His archive of over 8, items reside at the Denver Art Museum. Joining in the discussion is author Gwen F. Chanzit curator of modern and contemporary art at the Herbert Bayer Collection and Archive at the Denver Art Museum. She is also a faculty member in the School of Art and History at the Univeristy of Denver. Bayer made provisions to donate, after his death, a collection of his works which had been housed in ARCO's conference center in Santa Barbara to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The works have been loaned previously to the Denver Art : April 5, , Haag, Austria-Hungary.
